If You Let Me... →

This story is set after the episode 2x09 “Year’s End”. My version of what happens next…

Chapter 1: MAYBE, MAYBE

Felicity was on her way to the elevator, happy to go home. She couldn’t bear anymore gossip from her colleagues about the disappearance of Mr. Steele, the CEO of the Queen Industries.

It’s not like she didn’t love her job. She did. Felicity was very skilled with computers and retrieving information and working in the IT Department of the company was the best thing that ever could have happened to her. On several occasions, helping Mr. Steele and Oliver Queen with various tasks on finding information for them, she definitely had proven, more than once, to be a valuable asset of the technical division of the company. Maybe even the best - and she was very proud of that. But being an IT nerd doesn’t only help to get the needed information and cover all the tracks, no. It can also bring troubles. And she knew that now.

“It could be dangerous. It got one of my security guards killed.” Mr. Steele told her once in one of their meetings.

“Where is he? Is he still alive? Am I going to be the next?” Felicity knew from the start that could bring problems…big problems. But she did what she had been asked. Besides, she loved solving mysteries. She couldn’t help it, no matter how she tried.

“Maybe it’s nothing. Maybe digging all the information for Mr. Steele wasn’t the reason he’s missing now.” She sighed. “Who are you kidding, Felicity? Of course that’s the reason. Mr. Steel himself said that it could be dangerous and that they needed to be very careful.”

Damn curiosity. She knew that would bring her death someday. Probably sooner than later….

Hi everyone,
I made this video for the “AMAZING CHRISTMAS PROJECT” hosted by the “Amazing Youtube Vidders” group on Facebook:

New Theme

I have a new theme…finally!! ;) :D

Coveted (Gwen Sparks Series, Book 3) By Stephanie Nelson

“Coveted” by Stephanie Nelson is the third book in the Gwen Sparks Series. It’s an amazing read with lots of excitement, sexual tension, intrigue and action.
This installment starts with Gwen and Aiden talking about what happend (in Deceived, book 2), why he acted that way. He also tells her that he’s not giving up on her, but Gwen doesn’t want to have nothing to do with men or relationships right now. But it’s easy said than done, since her roommate is the sexy “Death” angel who can’t keep his hands off of her. She struggles with her feelings and the sexual tension with Dorian.
On top of that, being a spirit walker put her life in danger. There is a bounty placed on Gwen. Rogues tracking her and not stop to get the job done.

We also learn more about the interesting and mysterious Dorian. I love him and his relationship with Gwen. So you can imagine that the ending made me very happy except for the cliffhanger mentioned in the epilogue. I must say I definitely didn’t expect that. Maybe it was better if I hadn’t read it, because I can’t wait until next summer to know what happens next (hopefully the epilogue will quickly resolved in a good way).

This Series just keeps getting better and better with every book and “Coveted” is for me the best installment yet. I enjoyed and loved this book. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. Let me say, that I read the whole book in just one day.

I’m definitely looking forward for the next book in this Series, I highly recommend this!!

Iced: A Dani O’Malley Novel (Fever Series) By Karen Marie Moning

“Iced: A Dani O’Malley Novel” by Karen Marie Moning is the sixth book in the Fever Series and it begins where we left off with “Shadowfever” (book 5). It’s fecking fantastic. It’s dangerous, sexy and dark.

I have to admit that when I heard that Karen was writing a book with Dani as the main character, I was scared picking up this book. In the Fever Series Dani was such an annoying character. She went on my nerves on more than one occasions. But I should have trusted Karen more, because she created an amazing story.

Dani “Mega” O’Malley: 14 years old girl, but way more mature on the inside. One of the Sidhe-Seers and possessing rare talents ever seen among the Seed-Seers and the powerful “Sword of Light”. Abused by her mother and left alone when she was only 8, then used for killing. She is stubborn, intelligent and observant.
Ryodan: Hot, sexy, dangeruous and totally Alpha male who just takes what he wants! He has an interest in Dani (since at a young age (9). His men wanted her dead, because she may become a threat) and forces her to work for him (to figure out what’s freezing Fae and humans dead in their tracks). He watched/watches over her, sees her future womanly potential and wants her as his woman when she reaches it. He is very controlling when it comes to Dani.
Christian McKeltar: Becoming an Unseelie Prince, obsessed with Dani and trying to be her protector. He sees her as the woman she’s become and is willing to wait for her to grow up.
Dancer: 17 years old, super smart and Dani’s best friend (with secrets). But he might be a potential love interest for Dani in the upcoming books.
Lor: Member of the Nine. We learn a little more about him and the seven in this book. Like him, he’s a lot of humor.
Mac and Barrons: There are just glimpses of them and that’s it.

All in all, I loved and enjoyed this book so much. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. It’s entertaining, fast paced and full of actions. The plot is amazing, interesting characters and well written…Karen Marie Moning doesn’t disappoint!!

I’m definitely looking forward for the next book, can’t wait…I highly recommend this!!!

Impulse (A Mageri Series Novel, Book 3) By Dannika Dark

“Impulse” by Dannika Dark is the third book in the Mageri Series. It’s a very emotional read with lots of romance, mystery and action.

In this installment a lot of things happen and we learn so much information. We learn more about the characters, their history and how that made them who they are. We also get more information about Silver’s parents and what makes Silver so special. Also we learn a lot about the “Chitah” culture.

In this book we meet new characters. Christian, a vampire. I really like him and hope to see more of him in the next book. And Page, a Relic.

Silver: She’s grown in the past year, but still she has a lot to learn. (She’s immature and acting like a child sometimes and that got me irritated and angry. You don’t want to know how many times I smacked my forehead.)

Justus: Finally we learn more about him in this book, about his past and why he acts the way he does. Oh, Justus…

Adam: Poor Adam. I feel so sorry for him. He doesn’t deserve what happened to him.

Simon: How can you not love him? He’s funny and adorable. Let’s don’t forget his sexy hilarious humor.

Logan: Hmm…Logan, Logan,…I don’t know why everyone loves him. I just can’t stand him (from the beginning, so that’s not because he’s dating Silver). His courting and protectiveness for Silver is really annoying. I think he’s the only character that I really don’t like.

But let me say that ALL “Silver and Logan” fans will be not disappointed!!

The ending is heartbreaking…made me cry.

All in all, I liked and enjoyed this book very much. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. I read the whole book in just one day. Interesting characters, well written,…Dannika Dark did an amazing job!! Before reading this book, you have to read Sterling (book 1) and Twist (book 2) and for everyone who have not yet picked up the first three installments of “The Mageri Series”, read them!!

I’m definitely looking forward for the next book in this Series, I highly recommend this!!

Hello everyone, I’m back with a new video and fandom!! :) I made this fan-made character promo of “Justus De Gradi” from the “Mageri Series” by Dannika Dark. It didn’t really turn out the way I had imagined, but I hope you enjoy it and maybe it will convince you to read it (if you haven’t already done it). ;)

Please, watch it in large player, it’s better! ;)

The Mageri Series is an exciting urban fantasy following the journey of a young woman’s claim to immortality, and her own identity. Dark, unique, and full of unpredictable twists, the Mageri Series provides an original spin to an old concept. Sometimes ordinary people are destined for extraordinary lives.

Description:

Sterling (Book 1):

Zoë Merrick lived an ordinary life until late one night, she was brutally attacked and left for dead. She was found, covered in blood, and taken in by an ex-soldier named Adam. Zoë didn’t just survive that night - she underwent a physical transformation and acquired unexplainable abilities. Severed from her old life, her frustration grows as she tries to comprehend what’s happening to her. Serendipity leads her to Justus De Gradi. He’s handsome, arrogant, and not entirely human. Through Justus, Zoë learns the truth about what she is and where she belongs. A young Mage is vulnerable in this dangerous world. The only way Zoë will understand her power is by putting her trust in a stranger and accepting the protection that he offers. When her immortal freedom is threatened by the one man who has a right to claim her, Zoë learns the price of freedom…and the value of loyalty.

Twist (Book 2):

Months after moving to the mysterious city of Cognito, Silver is developing her gifts as a Mage, and learning how to live under new laws. Forced to give up her old life, she must now live in secret among the humans. She finally has hope of leading an ordinary life … until Logan Cross walks into it. Their chance meeting leads her close to discovering the identity of the nameless Mage who once stole her light and discovered the unique power she possesses. That knowledge poses an unimaginable threat to Silver, fueling her search tofind out who he is, before he finds her first. Lives are at stake. Truths are revealed. And an unexpected passion ignites.

Impulse (Book 3):

Almost one year ago, a Mage attacked Silver and changed the course of her destiny. Immortals exist, and now she is one of them. Within the dark and supernatural city of Cognito, Silver is living under the watchful eye of her Ghuardian anddating her mortal enemy. Neither man can protect her from a dark secret, one buried within the contents of a box. As rival factions struggle to gain control, she finds herself in the middle of a centuries-old feud that threatens to drive a wedge between her and Logan Cross, the man who intends to seduce her. In an explosive turn of events, one life is saved and another is forever altered. Can Silver trust those around her, or are they hiding a dark secret of their own?

So if you haven’t read the books, START reading :) you won’t regret it!! ;)

Drink Deep & Biting Cold (A Chicagoland Vampires Novel, book 5 & 6) By Chloe Neill

So, I’ve just finished reading “Drink Deep” and “Biting Cold” (A Chicagoland Vampires Novel, Book 5 & 6) by Chloe Neill and I LOVED them…they’re really amazing!!

“Drink Deep: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel” by Chloe Neill is the 5th book in the Chicagoland Vampires Series and it starts with Merit and the “Cadogan House” still reeling from Ethans’s death. Also there is the representative of Greenwich Presidium, Frank Cabot, who was sent to evaluate the Cadogan House and making everyone’s live miserable.
Then things start getting crazy; the Lake Michigan turns black, the skies over Chicago turn red and of course the vampires are automatically blamed. So, to save the House, the vampire race and Chicago, Merit has to figure out the mystery behind the strange happenings.
The plot is interesting, entertaining, a lot darker than the previous ones and full of little twists and surprises. In this book the things move a bit slower and there is a huge hole where Ethan should be (oh my, I really missed him).
I must say that I felt like it was not really integral to the Series except for the last chapters which are amazing. Even though this isn’t my favorite in the Series, I enjoyed reading this installment.

I also liked Jonah quite a lot in this book. He’s cute and funny. Merit and Jonah end up partnering on a number of investigations and he is still trying to convince her to join the Red Guard. He seems to be a potential love interest for Merit, but don’t worry…cause Merit is still mourning Ethan and there is always Ethan in her dreams and thoughts. To be honest, I feel a little bit sorry for Jonah.

All in all, I highly recommend this book.

“Biting Cold: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel” by Chloe Neill is the 6th book in the Chicagoland Vampires Series and it starts with Merit and Ethan being on a road trip to Nebraska in hopes of stopping Mallory, who escaped after being taken into custody by The Order from getting her hands on the book “Maleficium”. Merit is torn over what to do with Mallory, who was her best friend before. Will Merit be able to save her? But Mallory isn’t the only one who wants the book. Seth wants it too.
There is also the Greenwich Presidium, not happy about Fraklin Cabot being kicked out of Cadogan House. Darius, the head of the organization, is now coming for a visit and Cadogan faces now the possibility of being ex-communicated.

After Ethan is brought back from the dead by Mallory, he is now connected to her, which raises some new issues between him and Merit. He keeps her at arm’s distance and Merit is not happy about it. And again, like Merit says “one step forward, two steps back”. I thought we’d gotten past this, but I guess I was wrong. At the same time I also can understand Ethan’s reasons, but I’m glad that Merit doesn’t give up on him…so, in the end (finally) Ethan and Merit have a reunion.

I was so happy to have Ethan back. Oh my, I missed him…I missed Merit and Ethan fighting each other over everything (I love when they do that).

In this book we finally find out what Seth is and it’s definitely what you don’t expect and the ending is woooww, loved it!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

I enjoyed and loved this book. It’s a fast-paced story filled with a lot of action and emotion….Chloe Neill doesn’t disappoint!!

I’m definitely looking forward for the next book in this Series, I highly recommend this to those that are already fans of the Chicagoland Vampires.!!
